Influenza A(H1N1) Infection Travel Advisory

Currently, the World Health Organization (WHO) is not recommending restrictions to travel due to this outbreak.

However, quarantine restrictions may apply if you have travelled to Mexico or the US, or other countries with reports of confirmed cases (without deaths).

It has advised individuals who are ill to delay travel plans, while returning travellers who have fallen ill to seek medical care immediately.

Travellers can protect themselves and others by following simple prevention practices that apply while travelling and in daily life.

Internet Fraud Alert

Sunway International Hotels & Resorts is committed to being the employer of choice in the hospitality industry. Recently, the group was alerted of an Internet scam involving mass emails containing false job opportunities sent from various email addresses resembling "Sunway International Hotels & Resorts Careers Opportunities."

These emails include pictures and images of Sunway International Hotels & Resorts branded properties, namely Allson Hotels & Resorts, Sunway Hotels & Resorts and The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat, and request personal information and money in exchange for assistance in obtaining employment and work permits / visas.

The reported incidents have significantly declined. However, there are still people who continue to fall victims to these fraudulent emails. This alert is specifically intended to advise potentially misled individuals to please ignore, and not to respond to such chain email(s).

Please be advised that Sunway International Hotels & Resorts does not request personal information or money via email, and Sunway International Hotels & Resorts does not solicit or recruit potential employees via e-mail without due process and determining prequalification criteria by the Human Resources department of the hotel and/or corporate office.
